❝ Headpat Heart Particles ♡ ❞ ┊ FREE

Ever since Karma, I get asked a lot about if people are allowed to use the heart particles or if I can send them, so I figured after Envy it'd be a good time to drop them here. You'll receive a unity package that contains textures & materials for the sparkles / hearts. Uses any Poi and the default color for the hearts are black but feel free to slap any other material you desire on them.

How to set it up?
After importing everything navigate the hierarchy of your avatar until you get to the head, add a contact receiver on your head. adjust it to roughly outside the top of your head and name it to 'Headpats'. Then, drag and drop the prefab into your head. The particle emission will be set to 0, only change this if you want to see the size and location of the particles so you can make the correct adjustments of where it's placed then change it back to 0, other than that make sure it is set to 0 when you are done. Also, if you wish to edit the radius then just click the 'Shape' tab of the particle system and edit the radius size. Once you have it all fitted, create an animation and name it 'Headpats ON' and in said animation make 1 keyframe and set the particle emission to around 7-15 (personal preference for whatever you like) then create another and name it 'Headpats OFF' and set it back to 0. The reason why the emission values are being changed is because it allows for a more smooth transition when transitioning from the on and off states and not a hard particle cutoff. Be sure you do NOT hide the particles at any time.
